Along the way it adds pictures, voice and video, going by the site’s own title, and a community feed full of what other members have made. If you’re the type who likes to scroll a roster, read a two-line backstory and jump straight into a scenario, FantasyGF was built for you. There’s a free account, so trying it costs you nothing.
I like it because it doesn’t feel empty. Plenty of companion sites give you six characters and a builder. This one throws a whole catalogue at you, keeps adding to it, and lets members contribute. What FantasyGF looks like when you land
The homepage H1 says “Chat with AI Girlfriends”, and the page follows through: you land on a grid of faces. Tabs for Girls, Anime and Guys run along the top, so realistic and illustrated styles each get their own home, and the guys aren’t an afterthought buried in a submenu. Under that you get filters such as Caucasian, Latina, Asian, MILF, Blonde, Brunette, Redhead, Busty and Curvy. That’s enough to narrow a long list down fast. (A few tags go where they shouldn’t, and I’d just scroll past those.)
Every card comes with a little story hook, and this is the part I enjoy. Camila, for example, “runs the floor you just got hired onto”, so you’re walking into a situation rather than a blank “hey”. There’s a “New characters, latest first” section, a seasonal Halloween collection, a “Made by members” filter and a Private Content section. That gives the place the feel of a living catalogue instead of a static menu.

How FantasyGF works: chat, build, generate
Pick someone and talk. The quickest route is to click a card from the roster and start chatting. The site pitches itself as uncensored and says you steer where the conversation goes, whether that’s banter, a slow-burn storyline or straight-up sexting. The site promises “live scenarios” and a companion that “knows, chats, understands”. The backstories on the cards are clearly written to give the chat somewhere to start.
Build your own. Hit Create AI Girl and you shape a companion yourself. The page talks about customising both her look and her personality. The characters you make live under My AIs. The homepage also pushes a line about creating five AI girlfriends of your own every month, sitting right next to a Premium button. I’d treat the exact split between free and paid creation as something you’ll see once you’re signed in.
Make pictures and clips. Generate Image / Video is its own menu item. The site mentions realistic and anime output, HD upscaling and voice. There’s also a “10 seconds” figure on the page, which reads like a clip length, though the page doesn’t explain it. Your results collect in the Gallery.
Whether your custom girl still looks like herself three images in is the question no public page can answer. It’s also the one that matters most, so it’s worth spending your free access finding out.
Hang out with the community. Feed, Community and FantasyHub are where members share their creations, and there’s a Discord server too. If you like stealing ideas for your own builds (we all do), that’s a nice bonus.
Premium and what free gets you
FantasyGF runs on a subscription called Premium, with a free account underneath it. The free tier lets you get in, browse the whole roster, chat, and have a go at the builder. Premium is where the site puts its bigger allowances and extra content. A discount badge sits right on the Premium button in the menu, so the site clearly likes to run offers. The detailed breakdown of what each tier opens up, including how generation limits work, is shown after sign-up rather than on the public pages.
On price, the entry point sits at the friendly end of the category, cheaper than something like Dream Companion and roughly level with Secrets.ai. Secrets.ai doesn’t offer a free plan, though, and FantasyGF does. My advice as a mate: stay free for a few days, and if you find yourself coming back every evening, take the longest billing period on offer, since the monthly-equivalent price is usually lowest there.
Good to know before you dive in
Start with the roster, not the builder. The ready-made characters come with scenarios already written. That’s the fastest way to see whether FantasyGF’s chat style clicks with you before you spend time designing someone.
Budget for images and video if they’re your thing. Generation is a separate feature from chat, and paid plans are where the bigger allowances live. If pictures matter more to you than conversation, check the limits inside your account before committing to a long plan.
It’s a browser site. The site doesn’t list a dedicated app, so on your phone you just use it in the browser. The Discord link is handy if you want to follow new characters and community stuff.
