Facts and opinions are kept apart
Every tool has two layers. The fact layer — price, free plan, platforms, capabilities, status, check date — is structured data that is verified against the vendor’s site. The editorial layer — verdicts, pros and cons, scores, category commentary — is written by a person and is clearly marked as such. Templates never present a fact as if it were a tested opinion.
Independence
Vendors cannot buy a position, a score, a “recommended” label or a favourable review. Vendors may submit a tool and correct facts; they cannot edit the editorial text. Editors are not allowed to hold financial interests in tools they review.
Testing
A tool is marked as reviewed only after an editor has used it with a paid or free account, generated real output and checked the claims on its pricing page. Reviews carry the date of that test. When we have not tested a tool, the page says so and the score is labelled provisional.
Unique text per page
The same tool can appear in several rankings. Each ranking gets its own commentary written for that context (for example, how a generator performs on anime versus realistic output). We do not paste one paragraph across pages.
Updates and corrections
Facts are re-checked continuously; the date is on every tool page. Reviews are revisited when a tool changes materially. Corrections can be requested via the contact page and, once verified, are applied with an updated date.
Content standards
We do not publish or link to content involving minors, and we do not review tools that market non-consensual imagery of identifiable real people. See the acceptable use policy and DMCA page.
