What affiliate links do not affect
- Scores. Sub-scores and overall scores are set by the editor according to the methodology, before any commercial consideration.
- Positions. Rankings are ordered strictly by score. A tool without an affiliate program is ranked by the same rules and can — and does — outrank tools that pay a commission.
- Inclusion. We list tools we find, not tools that approach us. A vendor cannot pay to be added, removed or moved.
- Facts. Prices and free-plan details come from the vendor’s public pricing page and are re-checked regardless of any partnership.
How links are marked
Outbound links to vendors carry rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page code so search engines treat them correctly. We do not disguise affiliate links as editorial links.
